Insert Clipart/Graphics Into Your Table

Now you will insert graphics that depict the IB Learner Profile trait. This is where you will need to look at the descriptor and decide what graphic best represents the trait. The first trait is:

Inquirers

and the descriptor is:

 They develop their natural curiosity. They acquire the skills necessary to conduct inquiry and research and show independence in learning. They actively enjoy learning and this love of learning will be sustained throughout their lives.

Return to the table you created in word and place your cursor in the first cell first cell in row 1. With the insert tab selected click Clipart.

This will open the clipart dialog box where you will type a description name into the search box. Keep trying different key words until you find the picture you want to use. Remember you want the picture to depict the IB Learner trait.

Once you find the appropriate picture click on it once to insert it into the table cell. Use the size handles to resize all the pictures fit on the page. In the video only one of the traits will be demonstrated. Your job is to continue adding the additional 9 pictures. Make sure you make thoughtful choices to your picture selection. There is a saying "A picture is worth a thousand words."
