Putting A Picture Frame on a Photo

A new feature in later versions of Fireworks is the ability to place a photo frame around a picture with one easy command.

Open the photo you want to use. I am using the same picture I have used in earlier tutorials, a picture of my dog Cracker.

Click on the photo to select it then click Commands > Creative > Add Picture Frame:

This will open the Add Picture Frame dialog box. Click the arrow and select a pattern you want to use.

Next select a size that you want your picture frame to be. Twenty-five is the default. You will need to play with these settings to get the result you want.
