Insert Bookmarks Into a Document
Open a New document in Word.
Save the document as Bookmarks.
Type Text for Page 1
Starting on the first line of the first page of the document, type the text shown below, spacing the text as shown:

Insert a New Page Break Into the Document
With your cursor at the line under Step four with the Page Layout Ribbon displayed select Break > Next Page:

Your cursor should now appear on the second page of the document.
Type Text for Page 2
Starting on the first line of the second page of the document, type the text shown below, spacing the text as shown:

Insert a New Page Break Into the Document
With your cursor at the line under "What do you need to find out?" insert a new page break. Your cursor should now appear on the third page of the document.

Starting on the first line of the third page of the document, type the text shown below, spacing the text as shown:

With your cursor at the line under "If your strategy doesn't work, it may lead you to an 'aha' moment and to a strategy that does work." insert a new page break. Your cursor should now appear on the fourth page of the document.

Starting on the first line of the fourth page of the document, type the text shown below, spacing the text as shown:

Insert a New Page Break Into the Document
With your cursor at the line under "Use your strategies to solve the problem." insert a new page break. Your cursor should now appear on the fifth page of the document.

Starting on the first line of the fifth page of the document, type the text shown below, spacing the text as shown:

Insert Page Numbers in the Footer
Place your cursor on the first page of the document. With the Insert tab select select Page Number > Bottom of Page > Plain Number 1.

Now when you scroll through your document you will see page numbers on all of your pages.
To exit the Footer section click the Close Header Footer button.

Insert Bookmarks
Select all the text on page two of the document and with the Insert tab selected click Bookmark.

Name the bookmark "Step1." So not use any spaces when naming a bookmark. Then click the Add button to add the Bookmark.

Create a Hyperlink to Bookmark
Go to page one and select the text "Step 1: Clues." Hyperlink the selected text to the bookimark named "Step1" by selecting Hyperlink from the Insert ribbon:

This opens the Insert Hyperlink dialog box. Make sure "Place in This Document" is selected, ten click your Step1 Bookmark.

Repeat creating Bookmarks and Hyperlinks to Steps 2, 3, and 4.
Go to Bookmarks
To go a particular bookmark click Bookmark to open the Bookmark dialog box. Click the bookmark you want to go to then click "Go To."

Check Hyperlinks
Go to page of your document. Click on each of the hyperlinks while holding down your Ctrl key to make sure that each step is linked to the correct page within the document.
Spell Check and Resave
Spell Check your document then resave it.
