Undo & Redo

You can quickly undo most commands you execute by using Undo. If you then change your mind, you can use Redo.

Starting a New Paragraph

When you type in Microsoft Word, you do not need to press a key to move to a new line as you do when typing with a typewriter. To start a new paragraph, press the Enter key.

Save File:
You must save your files if you wish to recall them later. Before you can save, you must give your file a name. To save your file and close Word, follow the instructions below:

Saving a File in RTF format:

Many if not all word processing programs can save files in Rich Text Format (.rtf). This format is the most universal document text format and can be read all word processing programs. Documents submitted in this must be saved in RTF format.

Printing

After you have finished typing your document, you will want to print it. While preparing to print, you can specify the number of copies you want and the pages you want to print.
Click on File.
Highlight Print.
Press Enter.

Click on OK.

Printing Specific Parts of a Document:

By default, Word prints the document currently displayed in the document screen. With Print what options you can print various parts of document. Print what options are: Document, Document properties, Comments, Styles, AutoText entries, and Key assignments.
