Applying Actions to Invisible Buttons

Now you are going to place invisible buttons on the top of each game grid. Bring up the celebrity game grid shown below:.

Celebrities

With the Insert tab selected click Shapes then Action button and select Custom button shown below:

Draw out a button on the first grid as shown below. Don't worry about the color because we are going to make this button invisible. When the Action Button dialog box opens you are going to select Slides from the Hypertext to, select slides and select the question slide that corresponds to the cartoon celebrity character. Click OK to close the Action Button dialog box.

Apply Action Button

Now we need to make the button invisible. Click on the button, right click and select Format Shape:

At the Format Shape dialog box with the Fill tab selected select No Fill. Click the Line Color tab and select no line:

View the slide show to make sure the invisible action button goes to the correct slide. Continue to add invisible action buttons to the rest of the celebrity grids.

At the Format AutoShape dialog box with the Colors and Lines tab selected, drop down the color menu and select No Fill.
