Creating the Additional Nine Question and Nine Answer Slides

Now you will create nine slides that will contain the questions you did as homework which contain action buttons for correct and incorrect responses. Each slide should contain your cartoon celebrity and the two action buttons shown in the graphic below.

To draw out an action button click on AutoShapes on the drawing toolbar, then select Action Buttons > Action Button Custom.

Click with your left mouse on the canvas and draw out a square. This opens the Action Setting dialog box. At this time we are not going to assign actions so click OK to close the Action Setting dialog box.

To format the button (change the color) click on the button to select it, then right click and select Format AutoShape.

This opens the Format AutoShape dialog box. To change the color of the AutoShape, click on the Fill Color drop down list and choose solid, fill, or background color.

Next select the WordArt or Text Box tool located on the drawing toolbar to add text to the top of the shape. You will have two buttons, one that reads True and one that reads False.

Once you have created your nine question slides, you need to create nine more slides that confirm the correct answer and an action button when clicked on will return to the celebrity grid slide. Again don't worry about adding the action at this time, just create a button with the text "Home" as shown in the graphic below:

Click on the slide sorter icon at the bottom left of your document window to place your slides in slide sorter view:

Your slides should be in the following order:

Notice that the answer slide is directly behind the question slide. If your slides are not in that order, simply click on the slide you want to move with the left mouse and drag it to the correct location. Click on the normal view icon to return to a single slide view.
