Creating the Additional Nine Question and Nine Answer Slides
Now you will create nine slides that will contain the questions you did as homework which contain action buttons which will take you to additional slides that contain the correct answers and incorrect responses. Each slide should contain your cartoon celebrity, your question, and the two action buttons shown in the graphic below. The directions for creating this slide appears below it.

Insert a New Blank Slide:
With the home tab selected click New Slide then Title only then drag your text box to the bottom of your slide.

Insert the picture/graphic of the cartoon character that appears on that particular slide the same way you inserted the picture of your game show host. Your slide should now look like the slide below:

Add Question to the Add Title Text Box:
Click in the "Click to add title" box and type in your first question. Your questions will be one of the questions you had your core teacher check for this activity. I am using a question from my subject area Web Design.

Add Two Action Buttons:
Now you need to include a correct response and incorrect response action button to the slide. If the contestant answers correctly you will click on the True Button and if they answer the response incorrectly you will click on the False button.
To insert an action button with the Insert tab selected select Shapes > Action Buttons then select the Custom button:

Click with your left mouse on the canvas and draw out a square. This opens the Action Setting dialog box. At this time we are not going to assign actions so click OK to close the Action Setting dialog box.

To format the button (change the color) click on the button to select it, then right click and select Format Shape. This will open the Format Shape dialog box where you can change the fill color, line color, and several other options on your button.

Add Text to Your Button:
Insert WordArt
or a Text Box
on the top of the shape. You will have two buttons, one that reads True and one that reads False.

Make the other eight slides that will contain the question, cartoon character, and the two action buttons following the directions above.
Once you have created your nine question slides, you need to create nine more slides that confirm the correct answer and an action button when clicked on will return to the celebrity grid slide. Again don't worry about adding the action at this time, just create a button with the text "Home" as shown in the graphic below. The directions for completing this activity are listed below:

Insert a New Title Slide:
Click on the question one slide. Insert a New Title Slide and drag the title text box to the bottom of your page. Type in the correct answer slide. This slide could be true or false. Example:
False: The statement "To insert a numbered list on a web page you use the <ul> tag." is false! To insert a number list on a web page you must use the <ol> tag. Good Job!!
True: The statement "To insert a paragraph on a web page you use the <p> and </p> tag." is true! Great Job!
Continue clicking on the questions slide and inserting a new title slide to insert your correct answer slide behind your question slide until you have completed all ten of your correct answers.
To see if your slides are in the correct order you will need to be in slide sorter mode. With the View tab selected click Slide Sorter:

Your slides should be in the following order:
Notice that the answer slide is directly behind the question slide. If your slides are not in that order, simply click on the slide you want to move with the left mouse and drag it to the correct location. Click on the normal view icon to return to a single slide view.
To return to Normal view, with the View tab selected click Normal.
