Changing the Colors of a Horizontal Spry Menu Bar

There are three stages to adjusting the colors for a horizontal menu bar:

• Changing the normal background and font colors
• Changing the color for menu items when moused over
• Adding borders to the menu items to make them look like buttons

To change the normal background and font for your main menu double click on the css style ul.MenuBarHorizonantal a to open the ul.MenuBarHorizonantal a dialog box:

At the Type Category select a color for your font. I chose white.

At the Background category select a background color that will complement your graphic. I used a dark mauve color.

To add the background color to the focus and hover states select both in the CSS style panel individually.

With the first selected change the background color in the css style panel then select the next state and change the background color.
