Open a new movie set it to 550 x 100 pixels. (Modify>Movie)
Set the Background to Black.
Type in the Frame Rate Speed (I used 5). The default speed is 12. When you
finish with your text, you can try different speeds.
Take your Text tool, set at Times Roman, size 45, colour Dark Royal blue.
(Windows>Panel>Character>Type on the stage "I Love Flash".
With your select tool (the black arrow)select the text.
Center the text on the stage.
Click Modify / Break Apart.
Select the Ink Bottle tool set colour to a light Bright Blue, size of 2,
solid line.(Windows>Panels>Stroke)
Click the Ink Bottle on the outside of all the letter one by one.
Select the Ink Bottle tool set colour to a light Bright Blue, size of 1,
solid line.
Click the inside of the letter with closed loops like o. e and a.
With your Select tool (black arrow) drag a box around the text to highlight
it.
Click Modify / Group.
Click Insert / Convert to Symbol and select graphic. Name it text 1.
Click Edit / Copy
Click Insert / Layer (This will be Layer 2)
Click in Layer 2 Frame 1
Click Edit / Paste in Place
Click the dot under the eye on layer 2
Right click in Layer 1 frame 10 and click insert KeyFrame.
Left click in Layer1 frame 1
In the Properties box select Motion Tween. (This is located at the Frames
Panel. Windows>Panel>Frames)
Left click in layer 1 frame 10
Click Windows>Panels>Transform and change width and height percentages
to 200%
In the properties box at the Effects Panel (Window>Panel>Effects)
change the Colour Alpha to 0 (You must select alpha from the drop down menu,
then select the percent)
Click the dot under the eye for Layer 1
Click the red X under the eye for Layer 2
Click in Layer 2 Frame 1
Right click in Layer 2 frame 10 and click Insert KeyFrame.
Left click in Layer 2 frame 1
In the Properties box at the Frames Panel select Motion Tween.
Left click in layer 1 frame 10
Click Windows>Panels> Transform change width and height percentages
to 50%. You might need to select the text by clicking the black arrow, then
clicking on the word.
In the properties box at the Effects Panel (Window>Panel>Effects)
change the Colour Alpha to 50% (You must select alpha from the drop down menu,
then select the percent)
