Stretching Text in Flash to add Pizzazz

Create a new flash document with stage dimensions of 550 X 200. Add background color to the stage.
Create some text in Flash by clicking on the text tool
and then clicking on the canvas. I typed Flash Fun. Type whatever you want. Select a font face of your choice (a thicker font face is better for this activity).

Once you have the text typed you must completely break it apart. To break the text completely apart click on the text to select it and then while holding down the CTRL key click the letter B twice. Your text should now look like this:

Place your cursor over the edge of the text. When the cursor end turns to a 90 degree angle, hold your mouse down to pull out a square part of the text:

Place your cursor over the edge of the text. When the cursor end turns to a semicircle, hold your mouse down to pull out a rounded part of the text:

Once you get the letters the way you want them add a stroke to it to really give it some pizzazz as you did in the Stroked Text tutorial.
