Create a letterhead for your company which includes your company name, address, phone number, fax number, e-mail address, and company logo. The letterhead appears at the top of your document, centered on the page.
Start Word 2007:
To start your Table of Contents open Microsoft Word (Programs > All Programs > Microsoft Office > Word 2007.
Click the Office button in the top left corner of the document window
and select new from the drop down menu. Select new blank document:

Save Your Work:
Click the Office button again
and select Save As from the drop down menu and name your file Letterhead. See the information below on how you want to save your document.

Include Your Company Address:
Type in you company business address information at the top of your page. You will make this information up. An example address is shown below for a business called Olives Are Us.

Single Space Lines Between Text:
If your text does not appear with single line spacing as shown above select all your text by holding down the left mouse button and dragging over all your text. With the Page Layout tab selected make sure the Spacing Before and After is set to 0.

Center Align Text:
Select all your text by holding down the left mouse button and dragging over all your text. Click the center alignment button
located in the Home Tab section.

Draw a Horizontal Line Under Your Address and Apply Line Style, Color and Shape:
You will place the horizontal line just under your address. With your cursor under your address under with the Insert tab selected click shapes then line.

Add a Line Style:
With the line still selected, under Drawing Tools, on the Format tab, in the Shape Styles group, click the Quick Style that you want.
To see more Quick Styles, click the More button:

If you want a line dash style, with the line selected Under Drawing Tools, on the Format tab, in the Shape Styles group, click the arrow next to Shape Outline.

Change Line Color:
With the line still selected, under Drawing Tools, on the Format tab, in the Shape Styles group, click the arrow next to Shape Outline, and then click the color that you want. To change to a color that isn't in the theme colors, click More Outline Colors, and then either click the color that you want on the Standard tab, or mix your own color on the Custom tab.

Change Line Weight (Thickness):
With the line still selected, under Drawing Tools, on the Format tab, in the Shape Styles group, click the arrow next to Shape Outline.
Point to Weight, and then click the line weight that you want.
To create a custom line weight, click More Lines, and then choose the options that you want.

Your letterhead should only take up about 1/10 of your page. Imagine your page folded to make ten equal parts. Your address and arrow should only appear in the top 1/10th part of the page.
Save your document with the name Letterhead. Proofread and spell check you document then submit your work for grading.
