To see what an online form looks like, open your student textbook to page 6.4. Your form will resemble the one shown there, but will contain the information listed above.
Before you begin to create the form, you need to understand how such forms are interpreted and processed on the Web. HTML supports tags that allow you to create forms, however, it does not have the ability to process that information. One way of processing information is to sent it to a program running on the Web server, called a CGI script (Common Gateway Interface). For more information on this program, read pages 6.5-6.6 in your textbook.
