Working with Option Values

By default, your form will send to the CGI script the values that appear in the selection list. You can specify the value that is sent to the CGI script with the VALUE property. You can assign values as numeric or by a descriptive word.

Return to your text editor with the surveyform.html file open. Assign values to the selection list as shown below:
