Second Button: Attach another sound file from the internet by right clicking the file name and saving it to your folder. Attach the file the same as you did above. The file you will use for this activity is listed below. It is the actual wav file of a poison dart frog.
Third Button: The last button will include an avi movie of a poison dart frog. There are many sites on the internet that offer free avi movies. I would suggest you check out unitestreaming.com. United Streaming is a video data base provided by Discovery Education. It has an abundance of educational movies for teachers and is available to Palm Beach County Schools at this time. If you are not familiar with this service check with you curriculum coordinator and find out how to get your school enrolled. If this is not an option for your school, then try the free 30 day trial. When you find the file you want to use download it by right clicking the d button on that particular video and saving it to your folder. To save it right click, select save target as, then save. Feel free to rename your file before clicking the save button.
To insert this movie on your file, click insert on the standard toolbar, select movie and sounds, then movie from file. Select the movie you just downloaded and when prompted if you want the movie to automatically play, click Yes.
Inserting a midi file: Download the midi file below or find one more to your liking. To find free midi files on the Internet, go to a major search engine and type free midi files. The midi file I used with my presentation is provided below. Feel free to use this file or find one of your own. To save my file or one you found online, right click the link, save target as, then save it to your folder.
