Create a Matching Envelope
Create a Matching Envelope Grading Rubric
You will now create an envelope that matches the letterhead you just created. You will need to adjust the size of the text and logo so that it doesn't appear too large. You might even want to use the watermark feature to include your logo behind the text in your letterhead.
Start Word 2010 and create a new document and save it with the name Matching Envelope.
Set up Return Address
Click File then select Options to enter the Back Stage view.

Scroll down, and under General, type your return address in the Mailing address box. You don't need to type the name of your company because that included in your logo.

Word stores the address so that you can use it whenever you want to insert your return address in an envelope, label, or other document. Click OK to close the Word Options dialog box.
Create Your Envelope
On the Mailings tab, in the Create group, click Envelopes.

You will now see that your address appears in the return address section of the Envelope and Labels dialog box:

Click Options, and then click the Envelope Options tab.

In the Envelope size box, click the choice that matches the size of your envelope. For this activity we will use the default size of 10.

If you want to format the text, select the text, right-click the selected text, and then click Font on the shortcut menu.

Now you change the font's size, face, style, effects, etc:

Click Add to Document.

Your address should now appear in the upper left side of the envelope as shown below:

Add Your Logo to Your Return Address:
With your cursor in front of the first letter in your address press the enter key to place your address one space below. With the Insert tab selected click Picture and navigate to the folder where your logo is saved and insert it on the page. The graphic should now appear but will need to be resized and text wrapping needs to be applied.
Resize Logo
Click on the resize handles and drag your graphic so that it is sized according to your address. Notice my envelope below used text wrapping to place my logo behind my text.

This step is optional. If you want your logo behind the text, with your logo selected on Picture Tools Format tab click Wrap Text then Behind Text.

Resave your document.
