Find and Replace

Return to page 1 using the go to feature. With the home tab selected Click Find then Go To Find Go To.

Notice that your document is preformatted with the text {ORGANIZATION NAME}. You could scroll through the document and change all instances of the word to the name of your business or you could use a feature that will change all of them for you, just typing in the name of your business once. This is the Go to and Replace.

Organizational Name

With the Home tab selected click Replace..

With the Replace tab selected type {ORGANIZATION NAME} in the Find what text box and your business name in the Replace with text box. Click Replace All. PLACE A SPACE AFTER THE LAST LETTER OF YOUR BUSINESS NAME.IF YOU DON'T THERE WILL BE RUN ON SENTENCES!!

You will then get a prompt telling you have many replacements it made. You should have 31 replacement.

Replacements

Your document should now contain the name of your business instead of the text {ORGANIZATION NAME}

You will notice that you still have some {ORGANIZATION NAME} instances in the document. That is because it contains an apostrophe s on the end. You will use the Find and Replace feature again but this time in the find tab you will type {ORGANIZATION NAME}’s and replace text box type the name of your business.

Then in the find box enter {ORGANIZATION NAME}followed by a comma ({ORGANIZATION NAME},).

Spell and grammar check document and make corrections so that your document is free of spelling and grammatical errors.
