Creating an Employee Handbook with Table of Contents Grading Rubric
Document is saved with the name Employee Handbook.
 
Employee handbook pages have been unzipped and saved to your My Business student folder.    
All five pages have been inserted into document as an object and section breaks appear after each except for the last inserted document.    
Demonstrate how to use the Go To feature to navigate to a specific page.    
Find and Replace replaced all occurrences of {ORGANIZATION NAME} and {ORGANIZATION NAME}’s with the name of your business and a space was included at the end preventing the document from having run on sentences.
 
Spell and Grammar check was done on document and document is error and grammar free.    
Two blank pages appear at the beginning of the document (pages 1 and 2) and page section breaks are applied.
 
Demonstrate how to view two pages.    
Margins have been set to .40 on top, left, bottom, and right on First Section of document.    
Page border has been placed only on the cover page.    
ClipArt has been inserted on the cover page and section break is still present on the first page.    
All titles are formatted with the font a Verdana 16 points, bold and is left aligned on page using the Handbook Title style your created.    
Normal style has been modified using Century Gothic font size of 12 points and it is applied to the body text of the document.    
The word "Contents" it typed at the top of page 2 and is center aligned. The Title style is applied to the text.    
Table of Contents is inserted on page 2 and the options have been set to Handbook_Titles with heading 1 and is formatted with Classic.    
Demonstrate how to navigate to a section in the document from the Table of Contents page.    
At the bottom of page 4 and the beginning of page 5 the paragraph that appeared split is on the same page using the Keep lines together command.    
At the bottom of page 9 and the beginning of page 10 the tow paragraph that appeared on two pages is on the same page using the Keep with next command.    
All paragraphs on pages 9 and 10 have been expanded by 2 pts.
