Add Contact Information

When developing a web page it is important to include contact information. This includes your name, copyright, and webmaster e-mail information.

Type in Contact Information

Open the Index web page. You will enter this information at the bottom of the page, under your six category descriptions. Click the enter key two times to place your cursor at the bottom of the page center aligned. Key in your name, copyright and a webmaster e-mail address. Each line should be single spaced.

Insert E-mail Hyperlink

Select the e-mail address by holding down the left mouse and dragging over the text and cut it from the page (Edit > Cut). Word needs to know that the text is an e-mail address.

With the Insert tab selected click Hyperlink.

At the insert hyperlink dialog box select e-mail.

With the cursor in the E-mail address text box, hold down the Ctrl button and click the letter V to paste the e-mail into the address box. Paste this information in the Text to display text box.

Click OK to close the insert hyperlink dialog box. Your e-mail address should appear as a hyperlink on the page.
