Save Presentation as a Slide Show

Saving your PowerPoint presentation as a slide show ensures that when the file is opened, it automatically opens as a slide show (in full screen mode).

On the File menu, click Save As.

In the Save as type box, select PowerPoint Show (*.pps), and then click Save.

Save Presentation as a PPT 97-2003

There are times when you may be sending someone a presentation to look at but they don't have 2010. This save options would be to save it as a PowerPoint 97-2003.

Again select File > Save As.

In the Save as type box, select PowerPoint 97-2003 Show, and then click Save.
